Hi all,
it's that time of the year again to kick off our annual MWR Christmas Raffle. The grand prize has yet to be determined, but i know Bob and Rich are working behind the scenes to find the perfect candidate ! In the meantime i'll be once again organizing our other prizes and would like to invite MWRines to make donations. Typical runner-up prizes in years pasts have included watches and watch related articles, military items / collectibles, military gear or mil-inspired type gear. For those interested in making a donation please know that you'll be responsible for shipping the donation to the prize winner(s). Please remember that MWR is made up of members from around the globe and prizes may need to ship overseas. Anyone wishing to make a donation please feel free to post a reply here (include an image if you have one !), or PM me here with the prize (please include your email address and any image you may wish to include). I'm sure this year will be a HUGE success - thank you all for your participation and special thanks to those making donations. Best Regards from N.M. ^ Technically, I had those end pieces on my Constellation for a few months, so they aren't new. They have virtually no signs of wear, however.
And a correction: they're 19 mm (my mistake). Thanks, Tim |

Hi Billy;
I shall try and convince someone to 'mule' a 500ml bottle of our olive oil into the US. If I am not successful, I shall have to find a way to pack & ship the damned thing. ![]()

I'll donate a flag flown in the winner's honor by either the 381st EFS (F-15E, 'Bold Tigers') or 75th EFS (A-10C, 'Tigersharks') out of Bagram Airfield in Operation Enduring Freedom, complete with certificate and frame.
Added bonus: if you ship me a watch, I'll have that flown on the same flight. Provisos: 1) I leave here in early February, so this will all need to be executed no later than mid-January-ish. Also: the Bold Tigers are due to leave in mid-January, so if the winner picks the F-15E flight, it may be by the 492d EFS (The Bowlers). 2) The bay where they stick the flags for the flight is unpressurized, unheated and subject to standard flight dynamics. Your watch may experience altitudes as high as 30,000 feet, temperatures well below zero, up to three g's while maneuvering and heavy vibrations if they employ the gun on a strafing run (especially the A-10C).
