They certainly existed Richard, http://www.deskdivers.com/Site/EZM.html , I'm not sure what you mean by an Ar dial as they wouldn't have had an Ar dial, they used to have 3H dials and GSG9 dials though, if that's what you mean?

Couldn't put Argon gas into oil, right?
I've subsequently learned that the HYDRO only dial is Luminova and was the last "plain" dial. Thank you for your response!
