Anyone know an EZM2 with a dial labelled
HYDRO only pre-dated the Ar dial?

They certainly existed Richard, http://www.deskdivers.com/Site/EZM.html , I'm not sure what you mean by an Ar dial as they wouldn't have had an Ar dial, they used to have 3H dials and GSG9 dials though, if that's what you mean?

Couldn't put Argon gas into oil, right?
I've subsequently learned that the HYDRO only dial is Luminova and was the last "plain" dial. Thank you for your response!

..yup...I used to own one of those when they first came out..
..never bonded with it for some reason and so it went bye-bye..
