    Wore my Bulova Moon Watch all day today, wearing my Speedy Pro all night long while on shift.

    Young was truly an American hero and an icon to those of us who followed the space program. And his passing barely made a blip in the mainstream media. Fair winds and following seas Capt. Young.

    Most people are unaware that those space missions were just ballistic shots. You sit on a bomb and hope it doesn't blow up. And when they went to low bid rocketry they did start to blow up. These guys were genuine heroes.
