    Default Marathon Navigator insurance claim

I have to put a household insurance claim in for the watches stolen from my son (that belonged to me) what is the approximate value of a steel cased Marathon Navigator?

Checkout Ebay's completed auctions to get a value. Too many models listed, so you need to find a match

I've tried and can only find one example of a steel cased Marathon navigator and that is broken

Dunno if it's any help but if you use the 'advanced' search button, top right of ebay you can tell it to show only sold actions. For example:

Thanks that's what I used, just the one broken example, I think the insurance are going to want more than that. I haven't seen a steel cased one for sale in a long while.

James, check to see whether or not your home contents insurance operates on a new for old basis; if so you should be claiming for a like for like, or current equivalent, brand new item; there may be a policy excess to be deducted.

There's a couple of Steel Navigators for sale on eBay USA. The ADANAC version is going for a buy it now price of $499.00 but I've seen them go for more.

Plastic case only I'm afraid, thanks for the link though. It seems that the steel case navigator is a comparatively rare beast.

I have sold two in the past year. Both for around $325 each. Both marked ADANAC.

Hi -- If you had the orignal version with tritium tubes, I think maybe $550-650. If it was the reissue, perhaps $550. These would be retail.

There is one pictured on my web site.

Fortunately it wasn't a soldier in my sons unit at all but an eastern european cleaner with free range of the barracks
