    Default help with Marathon GP

    Hi everyone.

I took a chance on buying a quartz Marathon that wasn't working properly and sure would like some help on the best approach to repair it. The fellow I bought it from said the watch got dipped in the water for a short moment while he was out on the lake one day. Said it stopped working and so he replaced the battery. It would work intermittently after that. I went ahead and got a fresh battery once I received it and tried it. Watch won't work at all now. Any suggestions would be most greatly appreciated.

Call Jack Alexyon of International Watch Works. Aside from being an amazing watch repair artisan with very reasonable prices, Jack is also the authorized Marathon warranty facility, so he will have all the needed parts.

Hi Miles -- You can also contact Marathon. They will service their vintage timepieces.
