    Default Praise for Revo's Straps

I recently got off my keister and managed to slide an order in at the 11th hour. Ollie's strap is the first strap I've found for my Aussie Omega which has felt like an instant hit. Thanks again Revo

Personally, I think you need to hire a few keeners to help you sew and start a cottage industry making these straps..

I think everyone here who hasn't already gotten off their keisters to do so and order one..

    Cheers,

    Konrad

agree with you there konrad. when i received mine, love at first sight. top-notch material, stitching, and overall feel. i have an unloved watch or two (like the precista below) that i now find very wearable because of the straps. my only regret is not ordering enough for the 18mm size. after getting the straps, ive had one or two incoming mili watches that could use the 18mm (anyone want to trade their 18mm for one of my spare 20mm?? hehe)

    cheers,
    randy

totally agree, an excellent project and a fine undertaking by a true artisan -

although I never did get around to actually acquiring any for myself!

I did ask Ollie and there appears to be 214 plus straps in total floating around the community.

    certainly a future collectable..

Kye Lin, there are many mourning members I reckon, the original thread is closed for good. What a great thing to do that was!

Thanks K! It’s a tight fit because of the tutima’s narrow clearance but they work well imo. I have more British issued coming this week, so I’ll prolly try to squeeze in the 20mm into the smaller lugs. The Khaki colour that Revo used works like magic all sorts of different watches

Seems from a note on the PX that the famous Revo straps are officially discontinued? Sure glad I have one. Super comfy (I would have gotten more if there were a “short” variant).

Yes we are surely fortunate that Ollie was prepared to put so much time and effort in to this project

Also my thanks for the RAF straps offered in aid of charity, fantastic.

I recently bought a WW2 military compass on an original issued webbing strap. It looks similar to AF. 0210, but single 'skinned' (i.e. just one layer of canvas webbing..so no requirement for stitching along the whole length) I will be getting a few replica's made but only in the original size which is 16mm width...cant remember the length offhand will have to measure it. The original strap is now on my Smiths...and can be seen here!

Well this is all very nice and bit embarrassing.

I keep getting offers and orders . . . the posts on the Omega forum produced whole new set of admirers (no I am NOT doing them in 21mm!)

But seriously I might do another 50 in 2018. And then that's it. For. Ever. I mean it this time!
