Default CWC Diver Watch: question about the screwdown crown

    Hello,

I just come across a local for sale post and see this watch. Wondering is the screw-down crown threaded part missing? I am new in CWC watch, may I ask is it correct/normal?

Thanks for watching and your advice.

Default Threads are internal (inside surface of crown) and tip of tube

so they can't be seen when the crown is unscrewed.

Some brands like Omega and IWC use this type.

As opposed to say, Rolex, who use external threads all along the crown tube.

Sinn used to use internal threaded screw-down crowns, and then switched to external threads sometime in the mid-2000s.
