Default REISSUE CWC 1980 ROYAL NAVY DIVER AUTOMATIC

Not much excitement over the reissue it seems...

I know it's hard to comment with so little information (especially price) but automatic dive watch with original looking dial sounds pretty good to me.

What are MWRines' thought on this watch?

cabotwatchcompany ... what we should have done is not announced anything until it was ready. We cant hurry this and appreciate everyones patience. When we have the watch in our possession we will post a proper shot. what we have is a pic sent by the factory which is out if focus and not suitable to post hence just the quarter. We have said it will not be long now. Its been 38 years a few more days wont matter in the grand scheme!!

    Wow, talk about timing.
What are the odds of this happening!?

Hope the sudden disappearance of the website is in preparation for the official announcement.

CWC seem to have a long history of doing this; often their remakes are more expensive than the market value of the originals.

It's worth whatever people are happy to pay. £2k isn't a lot for a fine quality watch these days.

The good news is you get enough change from your £2k to buy yourself a bar of chocolate.

Could be a good buy if it was a batch of 100 only but without knowing how many batches they will be probably on the expensive side.
