Default Tornek - Rayville TR 900

I'm considering a Tarnek Rayville TR 900. The dial is "Sterile". Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you for your time. I have photos but have no idea how to post them (Newbie)...

I'm trying to buy it and it's extremely expensive. The watch is authentic, but I'm waffling about the dial being unmarked. The owner says it was that way when he bought it back in the 70's. He called it a sterile dial. Thank you for your question.

Thank you kindly. Very much appreciated. I was able to add some pictures of the watch. That poster Jack said he believes they did release some with "sterile" dials. The watch is in running condition and the movement looks clean. I blurred the serial number in my photo editor. Thank you again.

I saw this watch on the Omega forum. Not sure if the person was selling it or just looking for information.

I took it down from the Omega forum because I thought it would be better suited here. I got no response there. I'm trying to find out about the dial. Thank you.

unfortunately the best site on these is no longer up and running..

however I did manage to find this on a general image search -

the general consensus would appear to be that these are legit dials.

however they are supposedly repaired dials and not original dials.

not sure what impact this should have on the value of the watch if any!

hopefully one of our experts will comment on whether or not the dial that you posted is correct.

here is some useful web archive info -

I have one with a sanitized dial as well. Depending on who you ask you get different answers. One told me that the sanitized dial was a specification on some watches others felt that the dial was a repair made by the military. If you would like to PM me I can give you some more information.
