Is it the inner half you are after? Or outer half?

probably both....................watch is with repairer whom is having trouble sourcing part

crown and attached part of stem will no longer attach to wind/set

Can you ask your watchmaker if the movement is based on the ETA Cal 2372 or 2750?

There are stems available on eBay. Cousins don't have the inner halves but obviously sell the generic outer half.

I believe it is based on ETA2750... found this old post

    The Benrus 46374A is fitted with a Benrus GY1L3 P/N 179Q
This is a non-hacking 7J movement based on the ETA 2750

Some ETA stems will be interchangeable. Let me have a look around.

    Select "2750 Male Only":

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112244252533

    This is the inner section.

Your watchmaker then needs a female section which they may have lying around (they should do!). They are available here:

    https://www.cousinsuk.com/product/female-swiss-made

I have some, but can't remember what crown tap size mine are (0.9 or 1.0mm).

You can also buy the complete set (male inner part + female outer part ) from John Senior at Obsoletewatchparts. However, he only carries 0.9mm outer parts. If your crown has 1mm thread and you need a female outer part, send me a PM because they are very hard to find and I've a few of them around. Contrary, 1mm male outer parts can be easily purchased from Cousinuk.

thanks! again ..........however speaking with watch repairer it's not quite as he expected..we
require 'female' part illustrated? this has corroded at end and part has broken off no longer
    gripping 'male'end from crown

    ideas?

I've just had the same problem with a Benrus GG-W -113 which has a 17J movement based on the same ebauche. Finding a female stem for the ETA 2750 is virtually impossible. It's much easier to change both parts of the stem using a more common male inner part and female outer part. The complete set from John Senior is about 18 pounds including international postage. Just check with your watchmaker is the crown tread is a common 0.9mm or a more odd 1mm.

Any luck with your stem? By the way, what size was the crown thread?

    Looks good!
Unfortunately some lume loss has to be expected if you are not super cautious when handling the hands. And, if you really want, they can ca re-lumed later on.
