Default West End Watches - Box

I used to have a nice West End Watch Co. with the details of an RAF serviceman engraved on the back. Stupidly, I sold it quite a few years ago for about 35.

Today I was mooching around the local collectors/junk fair and picked up this great box that would have accompanied the watch very nicely. I love the art work. Pity I haven't got anything to put in it.

By the way I also bought a 45 of the signature tune of Fireball XL5, my favourite programme in the early 60s. I don't have a record player, but I like picture sleeve and memory.

Also, a 1955 Sheffield made /|\ British Army pocket knife.

None of it I need, but it's sometimes hard to resist spending.

    Nice finds Billy...

If you fancy letting the box go I'd be interested.
    Kind regards,

    Nick.

The West End Watch Co. box has now been united with Nick's West End/Longines CS(I) watch as it should be. Many thanks to Nick for his generous donation to the St. Catherine's hospice in Crawley.

Firstly, thanks to David for his generosity and willingness to let the box be reunited!! The two complement each other beautifully.

I am only too pleased to donate to such a worthy cause...

MWR is full of people with good hearts and great intentions. I'm sure I can speak for many more when I say it's a wonderful community filled with passion, spirit and a willingness to help each other where we can and in whatever way we can. This small act of giving is just one such example and it is what brings a community together... long may it continue..

    S. thank you for your kind words. It's a lovely combo...

    Regards to all,

    Nick.
