Are you the person who nabbed it off the PX recently from a watch someone was selling?

It was sold on eBay, actually, but I think the seller may have been a member here. Not cheap though: it was over 100!

Would you provide either seller handle or some descriptor for the strap? I suspect just searching on "brown strap" or "brown fabric strap" would produce more hits to be gone through than my life expectancy would allow. Thanks.

On thing which I didn't realise about these straps is that they don't have holes punched in them - you can secure the buckle anywhere you want.

    dave and rodabod:

Thanks for the responses. I have some of Ollie's output, and am getting more.

Though the watch is always the focus, I find myself wondering where a particularly appealing strap came from, especially when it really complements the watch. With strapmakers and sellers of nylon straps whose acronym dare not be named as plentiful as sands on a beach, trying to locate "that strap" on the watch you're admiring can make a guy meshuggah. It'd be nice if sellers or wrist-shot show-ers would say 'Strap by Bob" or XYZ Conglomerate. I know the strap folk would welcome the symbiosis. Maybe some day.

Mines stamped /\43 with the same A.F.0210. Hopefully someone's not done the sneaky, and marked up a compass strap.

Good points about the possible date stamp. Not sure why it would ever have "90" added though as it's clearly pre-1990.
