Default BLANCPAIN FF BUND NEW TODAY

Hi All. New joint purchase with my so Joe today (Forrager) a BP FF BUND from a good source linked to the Navy at Kiel. ( I trust ) Heartwarming to have a joint enterprise with my son and even get to wear it home and test it out in the bath. Cheers, Ian.

I haven't seen hands like yours before, date wheel looks a bit off too?

Nice military watch. The date wheel and movement is an easy swap. Brian

I think they didn't care too much about originality as long as they worked. Mine that came out of Kiel had (and still has) a Cyma signed rotor on the movement. As soon as I find a bezel for it I'll try and straighten everything else up.

Ian, any chance your source has a bezel and insert ?

If anyone has a bezel and missing the insert I am planning on making a batch of inserts. Brian

second hand is wrong, black bezel filling looks wrong and "triangle" missing the crack

a cyma signed rotor never was on a movement, when leaving factory (hookedseven's one)

    regards

Sorry if it sounded that way, I didn't mean it too.

All my Fifty Fathoms parts came straight out of Kiel too, and straight from a mil-watchmaker so it seems the Cyma rotor was work that he did. That's what I meant, that the repair guys did whatever it took. Fortunately I have a couple of correct movements and Rayville rotors to correct it all. The only thing I don't have is a correct bezel assembly.
