    Default Phohobucket & me..........

    Hi guys,

after Photobucket changed their rules I can't afford $400 per year so all my photos on this and other forums must just stay as is, there are probably millions of people in the same boat but that's how it is......... I don't blame them for wanting to make some money but they could have made it $100 per year and still made a good profit!
I'm a member of the US Militaria forum and just upload images from my PC, from now on I will post all of my US related watches and other items there and give a link here, I hope many forums can convert to this system and put Photobucket to shame as they lose millions of users.

    cheers, John

Phohobucket - nice one John, LOL.

sorry to see that they have now got you as well.

what a mess and a shambles; damn poor show all round.

you may be able to show an image here from US Militaria by using the insert image icon.

    Thanks Dave,

yes, (hit the wrong key but it worked fine if they wanted $40 it would be ok, but $399, they show how many people use them, millions, so they hope to get billions of dollars just by doing this........ I will not use them again, I didn't use them to store, it was only to post here and other places.
Looking forward to the wings arriving, one is super rare, so much so that the US Militaria site didn't have a photo of them!
    cheers, John

I have >6K pics (from well over a dozen years) on photobucket that I'd like to retrieve back into my HD before I delete my account. Apparently PB has been experiencing difficulties with their download function for bulk albums (according to an email received from their CS dept). The go-around is to download and save pics individually, I'm trying to do ~100 a day -- what PITA!
Once they're all downloaded, I'll delete the account.

it seems strange to me that the download album function no longer works!

I too had to download each image individually.

my account was nearly 10 ten years old but luckily I didn't have too many pictures stored.
