the first day of spring today - although forecast cold and wet for most of the week.

and British Summer Time commences this weekend -

so a busy time ahead for some of us adjusting all of our timepieces..

Things must have changed since I left, putting the clocks forward used to mean an hour less in bed - when it feels like 6:00 am the alarm clock says 7:00.

yikes, silly me, very senior moment, yes we lose an hour in bed, damn....

so it will be even harder to get up in the mornings!

I've amended the thread title so that I don't feel such a pratt.

When does "100 days of hell" officially begin? My brother just moved from Bay area to Phoenix and he's in for a surprise.

Typically late Apr/ early May through late Aug/ early Sep, but this year the temps got an early jump on us. Supposed to drop down a bit later in the week. Had to turn the A/C on already, older I get, the less tolerant I am of the extreme temps.
