I believe that they all look like this

Edit: I had the same concerns in a post last year http://www.mwrforum.net/forums/showt...ht=precista+82

I sold two Case backs of this type to Terry years ago. Both from proven MOD sales.

Lee.I understand your curiosity. I would be put off by the engraving. But more learned members have seen such before. The engraver must have had a bad hair day ( or a quart of naval rum the day previous. ) We are all on a learning curve. Ciao, Ian.

wow - good catch. I own the TimeFactor homage - one of my favorites.

This is fixed bars like the Milsubs? I just never noticed the visible bars on the outside of the case.

PS: I like your avatar - yourself riding?

The bars are fixed. The stock number engraved inexpertly on the back, 0552/923-7697, is the same as on a milsub I believe.

My avatar is a photograph of me on my time trial bike in the Mercedes Petronas Formula 1 wind tunnel at Brackley near Silverstone.

Does anybody know how many clicks per turn there are supposed to be on the bezel of this model? Also, should it be unidirectional?

The bezel is bi-directional and does not have any click function. It's just a friction fit.

Springmount it was probably done on a Friday morning, the engraver was very likely hung over as a lot of the military were. Spoken purely as an ex RAF man in my own experience
