Default Classic Issue / None Issue Divers

    Hi,

Continuing with some recent posts, could you please share what you consider to be your classical issue or none issue divers. Would be interesting to see what we have here in the forum. I will start with one of my favorite ones. More to follow...

    Thanks in advance!

Here are a few of my vintage issued and none issued diver's. Vintage issued watches of all types and then vintage issued and none issued dive watches are one thing I collect the most.

    Just added this one.

    My issued IDF Eterna

    My issued British Precista

    Omega 300

Benrus Type II class A US issued diver.

    Chronosport UDT

    Omega SHOM

    Tudor Snowflake

    And this Doxa 300T
Bought most of these when I was still working have slowed down since I retired and even sold a few some I regret letting go. I also got a few Seiko's one was the first dive watches I ever bought when I was in the Navy back in 1980 that first one got me hooked on dive watches.

Thanks Mike! Really appreciate you taking the time to respond. Some real classic divers you just shown, impressive to say the least. I am particularly drawn, because you rarely see them show up and because of their enigmatic past is the SHOM. From what I see, its the real vintage deal, not the NOS versions that we have all seen. Very nice. Mine is currently getting some work done but is not nearly as nice as yours.

Congratulations on those divers and thanks again for posting.
    Cheers

Here's a start from me. Titus Calypsomatic 7085 as received and in need of a little TLC but it is running.

Got quite a few non-issue, here are two.
    1985 Seiko 6309-729A, and 1967 Tissot Plongeur.

    Cheers, Bob.

Thanks Mike. Here is the original post back in 2014, when I first presented it.

My new (to me) Squale arrived today, and here is a picture next to a friend.

Maybe military life really is harder than civilian life

Spectacular watches, thanks for taking the time to respond. Really enjoying seeing your pieces. Please, if you can, keep them coming. Another from me. A set that I feel proud to own. The Certina RAN with its heavy weight brothers.

    Cheers!

If I squint my eyes hard enough, I can pretend I'm wearing river rat's fantastic IDF Eterna

I wonder how long we'll have to wait before someone posts a picture of one in its natural environment ?

And by that I mean in the sea, not on a nice wooden background with a light box

Maybe Seiji can help? I certainly can't...

They are called "Desk Divers" after all. I suppose you'll be asking us to show off our mil watches in actual battle next
