Default Uploading a Photo

Hi, Hope someone can put me right here.

I wanted to attach a photo to my post. I can click on attachments, but the message says I have 'already uploaded a maximum of 5 files', and wont let me go any further, even if i start a new thread.

I have never posted a pic on this forum.

Thanks

Post uploading images...

... try clicking onto "Insert Image" which is below the "Undo" icon.

Or: right click your image, click Properties, and then paste the (URL) address between

Also read the sticky at the top of the TECHNICAL HELP FORUM if you are using Photobucket.

Thanks Dave, I'll try that.

I don't use Photobucket, just import an image from my library.

It appears I can't just import a photo, it has to have a URL address to post it.

So it has to be via Photobucket, or similar. Is that correct?

Default Correct...

Hi Triggerfish,

You cannot directly upload images to Military Watch Resource because that option has been disabled. You'll have to host your photographs off-site, with any image hosting Website, and link to them in your thread/post.

Again, using Photobucket isn't required, but MWRines always suggest it because it's easy and it's free.

FWIW, here's a direct link to the Tutorial for Posting Images Using Photobucket: http://www.mwrforum.net/FAQ_IMGS/photobucket.html.

Hope This Helps,
RTFM

Thanks for the help, that would explain my confusion.

I'll consult the tutorial

... I usually use Flickr, but then sometimes I use my Photobucket account instead; at the end of the day it's all down to personal preference and what suits you best.

You could try using TinyPic to post some initial images; it has free image hosting and no registration is required.

Looking forward to seeing some of your watches; I do recall that it was about 2 years before I managed to post my first images on MWR.
