    Post Photo hosting sites...

    Re: Free Accounts

I have been using Photobucket for quite a while now but, at times, I find it tedious and rather slow.

However, now that I am used to it, and know how it generally works, I am reluctant to change.

I understand that there are several other sites available; for instance ImageShack, Flickr and TinyPic.

Has anyone got any preferences and/or experiences with these various sites; pros, cons, likes, dislikes, advantages, disadvantages, etc?

I would like to hear your views and comments.

I like using Flickr, it's very intuitive to me. On the whole, I don't have any strong preferences, so from time to time I might use other hosting services.

Okay, trying Flickr; handy as I already have a Yahoo account:

I'll just have to watch this "If a free account is inactive for 90 consecutive days it will be deleted..." thing.

I used the HTML code link; but, why is there a blue border/outline around the picture?

    And, what's the BBCode?

hmmm; adjusting the code: right click, click Properties, copy and paste [URL] into Insert Image.

    hey presto!

    finally: medium 500 x 375

    Default I am using Firefox

and the blue border does not show up...
i believe on other browsers it indicates that the picture is also a hyperlink that can be clicked on.
